i haven't been blogging in ages.
i can't believe a year has flown by so fast. time seems to fly by so fast now that i'm.. getting.. older. in exactly a week's time i will be 24.
i've just finished an investment project, and thoughts of going for further training to be an analysts have entered my mind. but while i think being a financial analyst seems rather interesting, i wonder if that's the path i should follow. to deal with figures my entire life.. that thought just scares me. it makes you wonder, the whole bulk of your education, was it really all so that you'd one day churn out data and figures? to let people know they should SELL stock x?
i don't know. life boggles me sometimes.
and my dear friends, i don't see the need to date right now cause i haven't met a guy whom i like enough to consider the possibility of spending my entire life with him. so please stop bugging me. and i don't want to be set up with your friends.. unless he was my last eye-candy. if not, NO! |

2011 was get-together/married year for most of my friends.
2012?
2012 is turning out to be the year where the dragon finds out 75% of her friends are attached.
here are some snippets of my conversation with my good friends/close friends...
friend (nonchalantly) : "oh that's my girlfriend/boyfriend."
me: "WHAAAAAAAAAAT!@#@#$ HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TOGETHER?"
friend: "not too long. 3 months.. "
me: "are you attached?"
friend: "he he he he he."
and with that comes the question of when my turn is going to be; until i meet my prince charming in a forest and he saves me from a hungry wolf, i'm pretty sure i'll remain single. ;) |
